1. About Us

BankConverter.co.uk is operated by Amelia GB Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (Company Number 07124049), with registered office at 76 High Street, Colliers Wood, London, SW19 2BY.

2. Service Description

BankConverter provides a web-based tool that converts UK bank statement PDF files into CSV format and provides income and expenses classification features. The service is offered on a subscription basis with free and paid tiers.

3. Account Registration

To use our service, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and it will remain active until the end of your current billing period. We reserve the right to change our pricing with 30 days' notice. All prices are in GBP and inclusive of VAT where applicable.

5. Free Plan Limitations

The free plan allows up to 3 file conversions per month and a maximum of 50 transactions per file. These limits reset on the first day of each calendar month.

6. Data Processing & Privacy

Uploaded bank statements are processed in server memory for conversion purposes only. Files are not stored permanently on our servers. Converted output files are temporarily stored and automatically deleted. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle your data.

7. Accuracy Disclaimer

While we strive for accurate conversion of bank statement data, we cannot guarantee 100% accuracy for all bank formats and statement layouts. Users are responsible for verifying the accuracy of converted data before using it for accounting, tax, or other financial purposes.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the service only for lawful purposes. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, upload malicious files, or use the service in any way that could damage or impair its operation. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and software on BankConverter.co.uk is the property of Amelia GB Ltd. You retain full ownership of any data you upload to or generate through the service.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Amelia GB Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or notification on the website.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
